This actually happened the same day as the last journal entry: I found the origin of that cat girl image. Go figure.

What happened was I Googled the "水紗姫" bit while keeping the "Kingdom of Chaos" angle in mind and came across this blog. It had the name and the green-haired image from the last post, and more importantly, a name. "Icon-Copylight:かや". I figured this "かや" was somewhere along the long list of links, and thanks to Wayback Machine, I found this, the smoking gun. Among the gallery up top was this image, which had a matching artstyle, including very similar skin tones, and tongue color. What's more, there's also this. It's dead, but Googling the filename will confirm it's the image I've been trying to find the origin of.

Which means in conclusion, this is "Milfy" (odd name, I know) from a decommissioned netgame known as "Kingdom of Chaos", as drawn by "Kaya".

And here I was about to write this one off as impossible.
One of the search engines I used turned up a very interesting post regarding e-shuushuu.net/images/2006-03-… from about a year ago. It was in Japanese, and according to a translator on reddit, the important bits are as follows

The person behind the character "Syal=Va" in the game KOC made this image as a portrait of his/her friend/acquaintance, the character"Mirufy.

The picture is about 10 years old, the author left the game 1, 2 years later and since the game itself was also discontinued about 1 year ago it's difficult to find any more information that way.
www.i-koc.com/

There are many pictures, but there's almost no other way to see them than to get people who saved them to publish them/make them available.

I really wish there was a way to verify what that guy said. The URL supplied appears to be dead, and Wayback Machine barely crawled anything.

Google points me to possibly this being Mirufy's page. Toward the end are drawings of the character that match the original almost exactly. I also came upon this, a drawing of "水紗姫" drawn by someone named "Kuha"(くはー). Beyond that, I can't really get anything useful.

So close, and yet so far.

It may not affect me directly, but if you go at this for too long, that's asking for a banning

From what I can tell, he's a guy who reposts news images along with the news articles in full for the most part.

...and he thinks I directly erased "his" junk or something like that

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!!
Once you start reading this, you cannot turn back.
I’M NOT JOKING ABOUT THIS!! KEEP ON READING!!

One day, Laura was surfing the internet. She was just looking at her favorite pages when all of a sudden a new tab opened up. She was confused, since she didn’t click on any link whatsoever. The tab didn’t show anything, just a white screen. When she tried to close the tab, nothing happened. She kept pressing the X to close it, but instead the tab turned to full size. Suddenly, the white screen of the tab turned completely black. It wasn’t only the tab screen that turned black, all the button and everything else on her screen did the same. Even her mouse disappeared off the screen. After a little while, she decided to turn her computer off because she simply thought it was broken. She made a big mistake. Out of nowhere, a full screen picture of her mother appeared on the black screen. As she looked at it, she could see that the pictures eyes slowly started bleeding. The longer she stared at it, the more frightening the picture became, until the picture resembled death itself. The speakers of her computer suddenly let out an extremely loud screaming noise. Laura covered her ears, but it didn’t help a single thing. She tried to leave her room, but the door didn’t budge when she tried to open it. The screaming noise just kept getting louder until it was too much for her…
Laura’s dead body was found later in her room when her dad returned home from his work…

Copy and paste this message 15 other plz accounts in less than 2 hours or you shall have the same fate as Laura did…
